I remember the time when you and I travelled the country giving presentations about the BSB01. I remember vividly the compelling stories we had over dinner, i.e. submitting false policy decisions in pigeon holes at Parliament house, that one was an act of brilliance. I was just telling somebody about you and that tale only a few days ago. You had the ability to shake the establishment of the status quo, question the logic of some very illogical decisions and miraculously persuade photocopiers to work again. You certainly had passion for the work you did and for the love of the family and friends around you. I learned a lot about you, I gained confidence from your advice during that time.

Over the years you supported me without question in my times of need both personally and in business and you expected nothing in return. The advice and mentoring was a key ingredient to personal choices I have taken in the past and where I go into the future. From your own personal journey I could relate and I trusted you knowing that you really believed that your advice was indeed the best for me.

You were the celebrant at my marriage to my wonderful wife, you did it with a youthful approach, passion, knowledge and most of all, a good heart.

You contributed to who I am today and for that I sincerely thank you. You will be missed, your life will be celebrated and your memory will live on.
